Numbers & letters

The left hand for numbers, the right for letters: sort them on screen, connect them alternately (1-A-2-B) and a worksheet on which both hands write at the same time. ← All concentration exercises

How it works

1

Pick a form

Sort: number left, letter right – with reaction time. Connect: 1 – A – 2 – B … in order. Both hands: one sheet for both hands at once.

2

Practise

On screen the exercise counts time and errors and remembers your rounds. On Medium and Hard every sign has a time limit when sorting.

3

Print

“Connect” and “Both hands” come as worksheets – both hands in three levels: trace, continue and backwards.

Frequently asked questions

What is the two-handed exercise good for?+

Letting both hands write different things at the same time asks for coordination and divided attention. Many find it a good warm-up before studying or a change in therapy and care. Start slowly – accuracy before speed.

Where does connecting 1-A-2-B come from?+

Connecting numbers and letters alternately resembles the well-known Trail Making Test (part B). Here it is an exercise to practise switching and overview – without norm values and without diagnosis.

Which keys do I use when sorting?+

F (or arrow left) for numbers, J (or arrow right) for letters – so the index fingers of both hands are ready. On a phone you tap the two big fields.

Who are the sheets for?+

Easy (trace outlines) suits children and beginners, Medium (continue rows) pupils and adults, Hard (backwards) challenges the practised too. “Extra large print” makes the boxes bigger.

Are my results stored?+

Only in your browser – separately per form and level. Nothing is uploaded.

The exercises are for practice and fun. They do not replace a diagnosis or therapy.
