How it works

1

Pick a level

Easy: green and red circle, 1.2 s · Medium: plus blue squares, 0.9 s · Hard: digits, tap at every one except the 3, 0.7 s.

2

React

Tap the big field or press space. Pressing at a No-Go sign or missing a Go counts as an error.

3

Evaluate

At the end you see the mean reaction time, false presses and missed signs – and your best time per level.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Go/No-Go test measure?+

It combines reacting fast with holding a reaction back – psychology calls it impulse control or inhibition. The hard level resembles the SART, where you press at every digit except one.

What are good values?+

Few false presses matter more than speed. Many people get faster with practice – and make more false presses. Compare yourself with yourself on the same level and device.

Is there a worksheet?+

No – this exercise depends on fractions of a second, which only works on screen. For paper, try letter cancellation or the Schulte table.

Is this a medical test?+

No. The exercise is for practice and fun and gives no norm values.

The exercises are for practice and fun. They do not replace a diagnosis or therapy.
